We recommend some type of anchoring system to ensure the shed does not tip or move during extreme high wind events.
There are a number of ways to anchor sheds, such as the use of Duck Bill Anchors or auger styled ground anchors. We often anchor by driving pressure treated stakes made from 2x4 into the ground along the inside of the runners and securing the stake to the runner using deck screws.
It is also best if you face the opening of the shed away from the strongest winds. Usually this means the opening should be facing in an easterly direction.
